We are proud to announce that Maui High School is the first band in the State of Hawaii to use TAMA Marching Percussion!

Our previous set of Yamaha drums were purchased back in 2002, and will be retired after many years of serving our past and current drum line members. We hope to keep up our tradition of excellence with this set of new marching percussion. Congratulations!

Students, you were gifted a day off today to take care of your personal business.  Make sure you use your time wisely and take advantage of this day.

Due to a water main break on Lono Avenue, rehearsal ended at approximately 3:15pm today (8/22/13).  Everyone was sent home due to no running water.

Please be on top of your schedules over the next couple of days, as we have lots of catching up to do!

Students, go get the first 5 sets of movement 2 on your secured members section.

1) NEW NUMBERS!  Some of you have been renumbered.  Find your spot on the field and check out your new number.  That will be your number from now on.  This new number has nothing to do with movement 1.

2) Input all coordinates and instructions in your dot book and make sure you have it for tomorrow’s rehearsal. We will be learning all 5 sets.

Our beginning of the year mandatory band parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at 7:00pm in the MHS Gym.  Students, make sure you are there with at least one parent!  Items on the agenda:
